Robert Hermann has been hired as the new novice coach for the men’s rowing team. Robert, a graduate of the University of Minnesota and former US National team rower, will assume the responsibilities of coaching and developing the Bruin’s novice team. “I’m excited about joining the UCLA staff and am looking forward to the challenge,” Robert Hermann.

Robert was a bronze medalist at the 1991 World Championships as a member of the US Lightweight 8 and has coached at Tufts University and Community Rowing in Boston. “We are pleased to have Rob join our staff, announced Head Coach Paul Mokha; he has experience at all levels of rowing and is a good fit for our program.”
