The program is fully recognized by the Pac-10 Conference and competes for a conference championship each year. Our athletes have earned 25 All Pac-10 honors in both athletics and academics over the past five years.

The Head coach is a full-time University employee who is assisted by 2-3 part-time assistants.

Student-Athletes pay $650 per year which includes all expenses for participating. The program is strongly supported by its alumni/parents group (FOUR) who do a tremendous job of fundraising.

The Varsity squad practices eight times a week for most of the academic year with morning practices on the water before 10am classes and afternoon ergs and weights on campus.

80-100 novice walk-ons join the crew each fall having had no prior rowing experience.

The team travels to regattas all over the United States including Philadelphia, Boston, Oklahoma City, San Diego, Sacramento and more.

We actively encourage high school rowers and transfers to apply to UCLA and join our program.

The crew consistently maintains a team GPA over 3.1.

Our boathouse is located in beautiful Marina Del Rey.
